Next Thursday, July 9, we’ll be announcing the 2020 Global Design Awards winners live, before the entire world!
Since 1987, the SEGD Global Design Awards have celebrated design excellence that connects people to place by providing direction, content, and compelling experiences in the places where we work, play, learn, travel, shop, and gather—this part hasn’t changed. But this year, we’re mixing things up.
While typically taking place in a lavish ballroom at the end of the annual Conference Experience, this will be the first live broadcast of the awards with after-parties to boot and FREE admission for all!
The “doors” open at 6:30 p.m. EDT with a kickoff party that runs directly into the virtual awards ceremony, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EDT. You’ll hear directly from the 2020 GDA jurors and see the winners accept their accolades in realtime—before they are announced anywhere else!
Keep the fun rolling by joining the after-parties, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EDT. With four party themes to choose from—90’s Dance Party, Beer Garden Blues, How-to Tech(no) Room, and 20’s Reboot—you’ll get the chance to unwind and mingle with this year’s and past GDA winners, jurors, and fellow SEGD’ers. You won’t want to miss this!
