PRSA National Webinar: From Employee Engagement to Employee Activism

June 23, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$200

Employee engagement is at a pivotal moment: What started as matching grants and volunteer days has evolved to ERGs and crowd-sourced campaigns. In today’s turbulent society, companies can no longer expect employees to check their values — or their passions — at the door. In fact, more employees are looking to their companies as conduits and partners for supporting the issues they care about.

As companies forgo the top-down approach to employee engagement and shift from company-first to employee-first, a new set of challenges has emerged. In this webinar, we will explore how companies can balance employee individualism with CSR goals and examine the role, risks and potential benefits in this new model of engagement.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Explore how employee engagement is evolving into employee activism.
  • Discuss the ways companies are becoming the conduits and partners for supporting the issues employees care about.
  • Consider the challenges that the companies face shifting from company-first to employee-first.
