PRSA Georgia: September 2016 Seminar – Streamline Your Strategy: Create a Communications Plan that Yields Results

September 14, 2016 @ 9:15 am - 11:00 am

$40

It’s time to start preparing for 2017 and you need a plan that is strategically solid. Seasoned practitioners Stephanie Fitzsimmons, APR and Katherine Mason, APR will provide tips for streamlining your strategic planning with the 10-Step Process*

Strategic planning is the foundation of every campaign and sets your course to success. Be prepared to learn new techniques that will help you gain more confidence in developing communications plans with measurable results.

In this seminar, you will learn:

  • How to approach situational analysis, incorporate research and clearly define audiences.
  • How to differentiate between goals, objectives, strategies and tactics.
  • To create a strong plan that allows for “wiggle room,” yet yields desired outcomes.

The 10-Step Process is a cornerstone of the Accreditation in Public Relations certification coursework. Current APRs will find the seminar to be a refresher about these principles. Non-APRs will learn the importance of these key elements in the planning process.
