PRSA Georgia: September 2015 Monthly Meeting – Kate Atwood: How to Achieve Maximum Impact with Community Relations

September 17, 2015 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

$59 – $69

Kate’s Club Founder Kate Atwood Shares How to Achieve Maximum Impact with Community Relations and CSR Programs

Community Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility are key components of any public relations program, but there’s more to it than just writing a check. In this presentation you will learn:

  • How to focus your efforts on a cause that will be mutually beneficial to all partners
  • The importance of a good match between corporate organizations and non-profits
  • The strategy of building a strong Board of Advisors
  • How to tell your story and generate positive PR for your company and its good work

As the founder of Kate’s Club, Kate Atwood channeled her own experience of childhood grief into a nationwide organization that assists children coping with the death of a loved one, and along the way has attracted sponsors on a national level and positive media. Today, as Executive Director of The Arby’s Foundation, she is helping the company and its franchisees combat childhood hunger.

Speaker: Kate Atwood, Executive Director, The Arby’s Foundation
