Shira Miller is the Executive Vice President, Communications for National DCP, LLC, the $2 billion supply chain management cooperative that serves the franchisees of Dunkin’ Donuts. In this role, she handles all aspects of internal, external and corporate communications, issues management, marketing communications, brand reputation, corporate social responsibility, crisis communications and plays a key role in the development of senior leadership. The Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) has more than 25 years of experience in corporate communications, employee engagement, public relations, executive coaching and marketing.
Prior to joining the organization, she helmed Shira Miller Communications, a boutique PR firm which served clients such as Cox Communications, Spanx, InterContinental Hotels Group, Farm Rich, FOCUS Brands and the Synthetic Turf Council. Her expertise has helped companies of all sizes engage talent, develop inspiring leaders, build a positive culture and enhance their brand image with internal and external audiences. The Emory University alumna previously directed communications and marketing for two billion-dollar companies (American Retail Group and Morrison Management Specialists/COMPASS), served as PR Manager for The Shepherd Center, Community Relations Manager for Days Inns of America and Weekend Bureau Coordinator for the NBC News Southeastern Bureau. Much to her mother’s delight, Shira has been honored with over 40 industry awards, including PRSA’s National Bronze Anvil Award for Consumer Media Relations. Shira is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society (the world’s leading professional association for chief communications officers), the Women’s Foodservice Forum and Public Relations Society of America.
