Speaker: Susan V. Booth, Artistic Director, Alliance Theatre
Our July Chapter meeting takes us off-site to the Midtown arts district for inspiration from a world-class institution and an award-winning director.
We’ve pulled a few strings to get exclusive VIP access to the Center for Puppetry Arts, including the newly-expanded museum space which features the Jim Henson Collection and the Global Collection.
During lunch, Susan V. Booth, Artistic Director of the Alliance Theatre, will share lessons about the creative process and advice on how to learn from successes and setbacks. She will talk about taking necessary risks and being willing to make the leap to “fail your way to mastery” in the face of new frontiers. Booth is an acclaimed visionary who has helmed Atlanta’s national theatre for a decade and a half, and directed works such as What I Learned in Paris, Into the Woods and Disgraced.
