Georgia’s APR Committee is hosting an information session. Join us if you are ready to begin the APR process or come ad learn more about the APR distinction and how it may advance your career.

The APR credential acknowledges practitioners who have mastered the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to develop, deliver and measure strategic communications programs/initiatives. Internationally recognized, the APR demonstrates your personal and professional commitment to excellence.

More about the APR:
The APR is administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), a consortium of several leading industry organizations, including PRSA.

Any PRSA Georgia Chapter member in good standing can pursue accreditation. It is recommended, but not required, that candidates have at least five years of experience in the full-time practice or teaching of public relations, and have earned either a bachelor’s degree in a communication-specific field or equivalent work experience, including public relations principles, writing, campaigns, etc.
