irplanes aren’t the only things that can fly! Did you know that the Mexican free-tailed bat can fly at speeds of up to 100 mph?
Grab some sheets of black paper and a handful of candy – it’s bat folding time!
In this studio, we’ll learn to fold paper bats that actually fly! We’ll have virtual competitions to see whose can go the farthest and work on refining our designs as we go.
When we’re done, you’ll have a cauldron of bats (yep! That’s what a lot of bats are called) to start your Halloween decorating!
**Registration for this event ends one hour before the scheduled start time. The Zoom link will be emailed to all participants 30 minutes before the studio begins. If you have trouble logging in, please reach out directly to the instructor for this class at thomas@museumofdesign.org.
