MODA + Miami Ad School | Design Conversation & Book Signing with Craig Frazier: Drawn

What does it take to build a forty-year career in illustration? And how does drawing shape one’s success in the fields of art and design?

To learn more, join MODA and Miami Ad School for an evening with California-based illustrator and designer Craig Frazier. We’ll meet at the museum for a Design Conversation in which Craig will discuss the twists and turns of his 40+ years in design and illustration while showing examples of his work, discussing the value of drawing, and talking about his new book, Drawn. Afterwards, he’ll sign copies of Drawn and visit with attendees.

Tickets are just $15 for MODA Members and $20 for Future Members.

Tickets provide Future Members with a 10% discount on copies of Drawn and Members with a 15% discount.

About Craig Frazier

California-based illustrator and designer Craig Frazier has spent the last three decades illustrating the stories and communication of American business, and before that, he was a graphic designer employed by companies focused on technology, furniture, and the arts. His illustrations are praised for their wit, optimism, and simplicity, and they have appeared in The Atlantic, Time, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times (just to name a few!). Additional clients include Herman Miller, Boeing, Deloitte, Adobe, American Express, United Airlines.  Craig is also the creator of eight US postage stamps.

His 2024 book Drawn is a compendium of illustration and design that spans his career and features 22 essays and more than 400 illustrations.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your plans, please notify us at least 7 days prior to the event start to receive a refund of the ticket. Refunds are not available if we are notified less than 7 days prior to the event start.

Refunds are not available if you fail to notify us or attend the event.

MODA reserves the right to cancel a program if registration for the event does not meet the minimum enrollment requirements. If MODA cancels a program, a full refund will be issued to all registrants.

Accessibility

Fellow designers with different styles of learning or special needs are welcome in MODA public programs, and we will be able to most effectively help everyone learn and enjoy this experience if we know about these needs in advance of the program.
