Atlanta is rapidly becoming a greener and more bike- and pedestrian-friendly city because of the work of people like Betsy Eggers, Founder of the Peachtree Creek Greenway. Join MODA on Tuesday, June 15 for a conversation with Betsy in which we’ll learn about the work she and others are doing to create a multi-use trail that will connect all communities along the North Fork Peachtree Creek. When completed, this greenway will connect Atlanta, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Unincorporated DeKalb, and Doraville for bikers, walkers, and joggers. It will also turn Peachtree Creek into a healthy ecosystem able to manage stormwater, mitigate floods, and provide shelter to wildlife and native plants.
