Melissa Clontz is manager of customer communications for AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS). She is responsible formanaging external communication strategies that support the business objectives for the nation’s largest natural gas-only distributor based on customer count. Her responsibilities include customer experience communications, regulatory driven safety communications and digital and social media.
Prior to joining AGL Resources in 2001, Clontz was manager of employee communications for Derivion, an online bill payment solution company.
Clontz is a member of the communications committee for the Southern Gas Association and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University in New Jersey.
Jon Luehrs joined AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) as the first social media and digital communications specialist in February 2014. He is responsible for developing and implementing the social media strategy as well as managing day-to-day social media activities for AGL Resources and its seven local distribution companies. Luehrs has been active in social media professionally for 10 years.
Before joining AGL Resources, Luehrs was social media associate for ACT Inc., the organization nationally known for its college readiness assessment, where he managed social media training and strategy implementation.
Luehrs received his Managerial Science degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
