About Racquel White
Racquel White is Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Royal Canin North America, a division of Mars, Inc. She is responsible for ESG, Crisis Management, Reputation, Communications, Government Relations and Philanthropy in the region, including the United States and Canada.
Before joining Royal Canin, Racquel served as Chief Communications, Brand and Public Affairs Officer at Diversey, focused on the commercial cleaning industry. Prior to Diversey, as the Vice President of Communications, Culture and Engagement at Newell Brands, she led Corporate Communications for the company and its 150 brands, including Sharpie, Yankee Candle, Graco, Papermate, Calphalon and others. Racquel also led Communications, Government Affairs, Sustainability and Diversity for Cox Automotive, representing AutoTrader.com, Kelly Blue Book, Manheim, and a host of automotive technology brands.
Racquel also spent 12 years at The Coca-Cola Company in roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Internal and Executive Communications for North America where she created the company’s first Employee Ambassador Program. While living in Istanbul working in Coca-Cola’s Eurasia & Africa Group, she was responsible for communications strategy and implementation across 90 countries (including countries in the Middle East, Africa, as well as Russia, Ukraine, India, and Israel). Racquel also had the honor of leading Communications, Government Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa while living in Johannesburg. Other highlights throughout her Coca-Cola career have included leading European Shareowner Affairs, the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Greece, and Africa Fashion Week.
Racquel began her corporate career at Marriott International, focused on internal and customer communications.
Racquel received a Master of Arts in Public Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish/Latin American Studies, both from The American University. She is a native of Tampa, Florida, and currently lives in New Jersey with her fur baby, Max.
Racquel serves at the Chair of the Communications Committee for Pet Food Institute, and she is the organizer and board member of the Moses White Foundation.
