Dr. Samantha Nazione is a Berry College Communications professor in public relations, special rhetoric and future health care providers’ public address. (Doesn’t sound like your mama’s comms course, right?)
She and her communications students at Berry operate in what they call the Berry College COMedge. It’s multidisciplinary. It’s hands-on. It’s nationally recognized for journalism, broadcast and forensics excellence. Allie Cain and Allie Pritchett are graduating in May. Are we all ready to meet in the workforce?
Let’s chat about that for our first employee communications SIG of 2018. We’ll have our usual, informal roundtable discussion. We’ll surely talk about those generational stereotypes. (And, navigate rebuttal from both sides!) We’ll learn about what’s new in the education world and what these bright new graduates are bringing into the industry.
Be part of the dialogue with views from new voices and those of us experiencing the workplace evolution.
* On the registration form, you’ll have the opportunity to submit comments or ask questions to help shape the conversation. Please take advantage of that! We’ll see you there!
Allie Crain is currently a senior Communication and French double major at Berry College. She’ll graduate in May and put her experience with social media, internal and external communication, writing, editing and event coordination to the test.
