JOHN BRIESKE
Internal Communications Newsroom Editor, Piedmont Healthcare
John is the internal communications newsroom editor at Piedmont Healthcare, where he leads production of the system’s newsletter editions as well as system communications for Nursing. He joined Piedmont in 2014 after a 26-year career at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. John enjoys playing and watching sports, live music, hiking and kayaking. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English/Communications from the University of Dayton.
RHODA DACLISON
Employee Communications Manager, UPS
Rhoda has more than 15 years of experience in Communications, including P.R., crisis communications, social media and strategic communications. Most recently she worked as part of the core team responsible for launching UPS’s first employee mobile app. Rhoda is an IABC Gold Quill winner as well as a Gold Quill evaluator. She is based in the San Francisco, CA.
FRANK MAY
Manager, Strategic Communications, Piedmont Healthcare
Frank is strategic communications manager at Piedmont Healthcare where he handles internal communications for system offices – IT, HR, Quality-Safety and others. He’s been at Piedmont for eight years including a two-year stint as contractor when he ran his own communications firm. He previously worked in Corporate Communications at BellSouth/AT&T and GlaxoSmithKline. In his spare time, he teaches business communications and journalism at Georgia State. He holds an MBA from Centenary College of Louisiana and a bachelor’s in journalism from Texas A&M.
ELIZABETH RASBERRY
Senior Communications Manager, Cox Communications
Elizabeth is a senior communications manager at Cox Communications in Atlanta. She is responsible for internal communications for Cox Business, the commercial services arm of Cox Communications. In addition to the strategy and development for all internal communications for Cox Business employees, she manages the executive communications for the leadership team.
