What can you do to connect with local companies?
What kinds of freelance opportunities are out there?
How can you make your portfolio stand out?
A recent study suggests that freelancers and 1099 independent contractors in the U.S. will grow from 3.2 million to 7.6 million by 2020—that’s double the freelance work force.
Many independent creative people are finding opportunities by working with recruiters at creative staffing firms. These companies offer temporary, part-time, short-term and long-term contract work, both remote and on-site.
At our next Freelance Forum meeting, we’ll host a panel discussion with local creative staffing recruiters to talk about freelance opportunities and how the process works. If you’re looking for new projects, you don’t want to miss it.
