We use Google everyday to find information about products and services we are interested in. By the time you do a search, all of the search engine optimization (SEO) work has been done. Google attempts to give you the best possible answers to your query in a fraction of a second. In competitive markets, this is an extremely difficult challenge.
SEO used to be mostly about keywords and links, but has grown to incorporate hundreds of signals including social media, site speed, mobile friendliness, and reviews. This presentation is designed to give sales and marketing professionals an overview of what is important, whether they implement it themselves or work with others on the strategy.
You can only optimize what you measure, so attendees will learn how to measure organic traffic and the types of success metrics that can be captured. Attendees will come away knowing free and low cost resources they can use without hiring a consultant or agency.
