Glen Caruso

Enterprise Sales Director, Southeast & Mid-Atlantic Region, Rocket Fuel

An established entrepreneur, educator and digital marketing sales and strategy expert, Glen has worked at leading digital media companies like Microsoft, AOL, Yahoo! As well as various bleeding edge start ups throughout his career. Two of the companies he helped start were acquired – Firecracker Digital Group by BLiNQ Media and BLiNQ by Gannett. He is currently responsible for a team of Enterprise SaaS sellers who call on Fortune 100 brand marketers selling Rocket Fuel’s leading DMP and DSP Programmatic solutions.

 

Mary Stenmark
Senior Director of Sales, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions, Rocket Fuel
President Elect, AMA Atlanta

A seasoned digital marketing veteran, Mary Stenmark is senior executive with the largest programmatic ad platform on the planet, Rocket Fuel. Rocket Fuel is a DSP targeting company. They use artificial intelligence and big data to serve ads dynamically across display, mobile, tablet, social and online video. Mary oversees a team of 20 people who are responsible for partnering with the top 100 U.S. marketers and their ad agencies to drive sales and audience intelligence.

However, Mary’s background had little to do with data and computers. Mary graduated from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley College cum laude and immediately started a career in photography. A natural entrepreneur with a creative bent, she founded her own photography studio. Within six years, she grew this business into a multi-million dollar professional portrait company and was selected by the Professional Photographers Association of America as one of the nation’s top portrait artists – a coveted designation few in her field receive.

At 26, Mary suffered a stroke that derailed her photography career and forced her to find another passion that she could convert into a career. That turned out to be the world of digital and interactive marketing. Today, Mary is a sought-after motivational and public speaker on digital and traditional marketing. She resides in Atlanta with her greatest loves: her husband and two sons.

 

Anna Ruth
Founder and CEO, AR|PR

An entrepreneur, Anna Ruth founded AR|PR in 2012, having previously managed communications for national and international B2B and B2C accounts as well as high-profile political figures. Under her leadership, AR|PR quickly rose to become the Southeast’s fastest growing technology PR firm, and was recently named Small Agency of the Year by a panel of national journalists. AR|PR has also secured recognition from PRWeek, PRSA Georgia, PRSA New Orleans, the Technology Association of Georgia, and more.

She has a proven record of executing strategic online marketing campaigns and securing media coverage in some of the nation’s biggest outlets, such as CNN, Fast Company, Forbes, GigaOM, Mashable, TechCrunch and Wall Street Journal. Recognized as a rising PR industry visionary, Anna has shared business and PR strategies in publications such as PRDaily, Entrepreneur Magazine, VentureBeat and The Street, and is a frequent speaker at entrepreneurial and marketing conferences across the Southeast.

Anna graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama where she won four national championships in public speaking events, and completed post graduate coursework in strategic public relations at George Washington University. She is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Atlanta’s LEAD program and a founding member of the organization’s alumni association. An active member of the Technology Association of Georgia, Anna is also a graduate of the Atlanta Technology Angel’s LaunchPad2X class – an exclusive women entrepreneurship program.

 

Keisha Hines
Senior Director, Communications, Strategic Partnerships and Innovation, Zoo Atlanta

Hines’ professional career includes more than 15 years of experience in a variety of fields, including public relations, marketing, high-level crisis management, music, fashion, television and law enforcement. Her diverse background allows her to use innovative public relations tactics to yield proven results and strong industry awareness. Her accomplishments include two 2009 Atlanta Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards in General Advertising and Integrated PR Campaign for the Zoo’s Give So They Stay campaign to keep giant pandas in Atlanta.

Prior to joining Zoo Atlanta in 2007, Hines served as Senior Public Relations Manager for the City of Atlanta Department of Public Works and Public Information Manager for the Department of Planning and Community Development. Her tenure with the City of Atlanta included a number of high-profile projects, including the successful Permitting Improvement Project, Affordable Workforce Housing, Incentivized Recycling and the Sustainable Atlanta Initiative.

Her career also includes work as the Community spokesperson for the DeKalb County Police Department and on-air reporter for DeKalb County Television. Her entertainment industry experience includes positions with Violator Management & Music in New York, as well as wardrobe stylist to artists such as Missy Elliott, Mase and Busta Rhymes. A native New Yorker from Queens, Hines holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Politics with a minor in Criminal Justice from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

 

Kathryn Beane
Principal and Creative Producer, Cheveyo Entertainment

A lover of the entertainment business, Kathryn Beane’s career as an entrepreneur began in Hollywood. She got her first break working for Hypnotic, the production company behind television shows The O.C., Suits and Covert Affairs. She also served as an assistant to film director, Doug Liman, the creative mind behind blockbuster hits such as The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Edge of Tomorrow.

Following graduate school at the University of Southern California, the entrepreneurial bug bit, inspiring Kathryn to create a consumer-based media product that used entertainment to bridge an information gap in the college admissions space. She later returned to Atlanta and headed up marketing for NewsCertified Exchange, a digital startup founded by a group of CNN alumni. In 2011, she left NewsCertified to join CSE, an athlete management and marketing firm, as Director of Television and Digital Content. In this role, she she developed original properties in the reality TV and digital video space and worked on cross-platform branded content projects for clients like Coca-Cola, AT&T, AGCO, Aflac, Georgia Power, Anheuser-Busch and The Weather Channel.

Following her entrepreneurial passion once again, Kathryn recently embarked on a new journey with her own company, Cheveyo Entertainment, where she is currently working on several projects with creative partners such as the Atlanta-based digital publisher, The Bitter Southerner. As an entrepreneur and creative producer, Kathryn is driven by her love of storytelling, a passion for the entertainment business and a strong entrepreneurial acumen. Kathryn grew up in Atlanta and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dartmouth College. She also holds Masters of Fine Arts in film and television producing from the Peter Stark Program at the University of Southern California.
