Speaker: J Noble, Alliance@work Manager, Alliance Theatre
J. Noble has acted, directed, produced, and taught. Known as an authentic communicator with the ability to teach that skill to others, J. has been a popular program facilitator with top-tier national corporations as well as non-profits and educational institutions.
J. is currently the director of the Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre’s Alliance@work program in Atlanta. Alliance@work helps professionals and their organizations enhance their effectiveness by merging the fundamentals of communication and collaboration with the process of creating powerful performance. J. teaches people how to share who they are and what they do in focused and believable ways to get results, specifically in the areas of strategic storytelling, leadership coaching, emotional intelligence training, and customer/experience design.
Previously, J. was the Professional Learning Coordinator for the Woodruff Arts Center and facilitated the Professional Learning Initiative, which supported local educators with arts-integrated curriculum design and delivery.
Before coming to Atlanta, J. was the Director of Performing Arts for the Tennessee Arts Commission where he managed the performing arts program and provided technical assistance to arts organizations across the state. J. has also served as Artistic Director of Theatre Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee.
J. holds an MA.Ed in English and an MFA in theater with a focus on directing.
