Jamie Turner (Moderator)– 60 Second Marketer

Jamie Turner is an internationally recognized author, professor, and management consultant who was recognized as a top 10 speaker by CarreerAddict (along with Ariana Huffington, Daymond John, and Gary Vaynerchuk). His client list includes The Coca-Cola Company, AT&T, Microsoft, Verizon, SAP, T-Mobile, and Holiday Inn. You may have seen Jamie in Forbes, Inc., Entrepreneur, Business Insider or the Wall Street Journal. He’s also a regular guest on CNN and HLN where he contributes segments on marketing, persuasion, and leadership. He teaches at Emory University and the University of Texas and has been profiled in one of the world’s best-selling textbooks. Jamie is the co-author of several essential business books including How to Make Money with Social Media; Go Mobile; and Digital Marketing Growth Hacks. He is the founder of 60SecondMarketer.com and has a new YouTube series called IN:60 which is available on YouTube and was designated as one of 8 “Top Business YouTube Channels” in the nation by Wishpond.com. Doug Busk – VP of Enterprise Communications and Marketing, Emory University

Over the span of his career, Doug has excelled at connecting audiences to their favorite brands via omni-channel story-telling. In his current role as Vice President of Enterprise Communications and Marketing at Emory University, he leads university-wide media relations, internal communications, and owned channel content development (emory.edu, social media presence).

Previously, Doug was Group Director of Digital Communications & Social Media at The Coca-Cola Company, where responsibilities included overseeing the evolution and international expansion of the Coca-Cola Journey storytelling platform; driving strategic growth of the company’s corporate social media channels; and leading the development and execution of digital training and capability-building worldwide. In 2013, Doug spearheaded the creation and launch of the HUB Network, Coca-Cola’s global social listening, analysis and engagement platform, connecting and harmonizing the real-time work of more than 2,000 social media marketers worldwide.

Other notable achievements in Doug’s career include the strategy behind and implementation of the landmark mobile marketing and organizing efforts of the 2008 Obama presidential campaign and, while with Verizon Wireless, the establishment of mobile donation via text messaging in the US.

Josh Cherfoli – Senior Director, Marketing and Digital Engagement, Georgia Aquarium

Josh Cherfoli, Senior Director of Marketing and Digital Engagement at Georgia Aquarium, directs all marketing, advertising and interactive efforts for Georgia Aquarium. His responsibilities include the development and execution of all websites, digital properties, mobile apps and digital media environments which are designed to cultivate the highest quality user experience. He leads the relationships with all marketing agencies and aquarium leadership teams to ensure continued growth of all marketing activities, campaign development, and branding. His team works across all departments to align all media, communications, marketing and public relations efforts to ensure a consistent and unified messaging strategy.

Cherfoli brings a creative, results-oriented marketing approach in support of Georgia Aquarium. He has a solid record for driving integrated and award-winning marketing campaigns. He is proud of taking home awards from EFFIE, Webby, MAXX, Digital Edge 50 and others over his 20-plus years of traditional, interactive and database marketing experience.

Prior to joining Georgia Aquarium, Cherfoli worked in the marketing departments of The Home Depot, Porsche Cars North America and Porsche Financial Services in Atlanta. While living in Detroit, Michigan, he gained a tremendous amount of experience from some of the largest advertising agency networks in the world. Those advertising and marketing agencies included BBDO, McCann-Erickson and Ross Roy and provided the marketing activities for brands like, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, and GMC.

Cherfoli earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Michigan State University and earned his Master’s degree in Communications from Purdue University.

He resides in Roswell, GA with his wife and their four children.

Yana Kershteyn – Senior Director, Consumer Marketing, Cox Automotive

Yana Kershteyn is a Sr. Director of Consumer Marketing at Cox Auto. In her role she leads consumer, brand, social, and performance media as well as sports marketing, spanning sponsorships such as NBA, NFL and NASCAR. She also leads several media buying teams and partners with several agencies. Prior to that role, she spent over 10 years leading media, Multicultural marketing and brand integrations at The Home Depot managing all aspects of brand and digital media for multiple high impact categories across US and Puerto Rico. She has worked globally leading expansion of global retailer onto Russian markets and has both client and agency experience. She is passionate about travel and is an avid reader who loves spending time skiing with her husband and her 12-year-old son.

Tuwisha Rogers-Simpson – VP, Brand and Partnerships, National Museum of African American Music

Tuwisha D. Rogers- Simpson is, first and foremost, a creative problem solver. She currently serves as the Vice President of Brand and Partnerships for the first-ever National Museum of African American Music. The former Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Urban One, she has contributed to over 70 MM of media revenue and partnership management with iconic brands such as Walmart, AT&T, and Prudential. Tuwisha has been recognized by MSNBC, NPR, and ESSENCE as a strategist, producer, and industry thought leader in multicultural culture, media, and consumer insights. She has won multiple industry awards for her work, including numerous Telly’s, Model D, Faxies, and Cynopsis awards.

In addition to her career in multicultural marketing, Tuwisha was an educator in Bauder College’s business department and political science at William Paterson University. She is a respected, sought-after speaker and facilitates workshops for public schools, colleges, and organizations, sharing her expertise on personal branding, empowerment, academic development, and community partnerships. Tuwisha serves as a professor for the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN)Academy, instructing women of color to spark change in the entertainment industry.

Tuwisha is a Leadership Newark Fellow and a proud graduate of the Prudential Young Entrepreneur program, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Pi Alpha Alpha Honor society. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from William Paterson University, a Master of Public Administration in Urban Studies from Kean University, and a New Jersey teaching certification. Tuwisha was honored as a recipient of 2013 The Network Journal Forty Under 40 for her career accomplishments and community service.
