Julie Bowerman, Chief Global Digital Consumer & Customer Experience Officer, Kellogg’s

Julie Bowerman has over 20 years of CPG experience in a variety of marketing, commercial and digital roles. Julie is currently Chief Global Digital Customer and Consumer Experience Officer of Kellogg’s with responsibility to build and lead the transformation of Kellogg’s online eCommerce business and brand digital experiences. Prior to Kellogg’s, she was the SVP of Global eCommerce and Digital Engagement for Hain Celestial, a leading global organic food and personal care company. Julie was GM of Hain’s eCommerce business which included accountability to the P&L, customer relationships, digital marketing and brand experience across their portfolio of 55+ brands.

Prior to Kellogg’s and Hain Celestial, Julie spent most of her career at Coca-Cola. Her most recent role at Coca-Cola was Global Vice President of Shopper Marketing and eCommerce where she was responsible for the strategy and execution of Coke’s global eCommerce business and shopper marketing capability. Previous to that role, she built Coca-Cola’s US eCommerce business where she was accountable to develop Coke’s US eCommerce vision and strategy as well as run and manage the P&L. Julie also led digital marketing for the Coke portfolio and started their loyalty and CRM program known as My Coke Rewards. Her early years at Coke included traditional CPG roles in brand marketing, customer management, and commercial strategy and execution.

In addition to Kellogg, Julie serves on the Board of Directors of Brixmor Property Group Inc. She also serves on the non-profit board of 48in48, a social entrepreneurship organization that provides volunteerism, education, and awareness to small 501c3 organizations and serves on the advisory board of OTHRSource, a tech start-up that brings together great brands and people to provide an innovative way to win in retail merchandising.

Julie lives in Atlanta with her husband Greg and daughter Reilly. She has her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, a post-graduate degree from Michigan State University and executive education from Harvard University. She loves to play tennis, travel the world and be a great mom that can balance it all.

Jo Ann Herold, CMO at The Honey Baked Ham Company, LLC

Jo Ann is a purpose-driven executive and brings more than 25 years of marketing experience. She has a long track record of delivering financial results and award-winning marketing programs that build sales and profitability for iconic brands in the B2B and B2C space. Currently, she is the Chief Marketing Officer for The HoneyBaked Ham Company. Prior to HoneyBaked Ham, she was the Chief Marketing Officer for Interface, Inc., where she globalized the marketing team and brought forth a highly effective, integrated marketing approach resulting in five consecutive quarters of record financial performance. Prior to Interface, she was Vice President of Brand Marketing and Public Relations at Arby’s Restaurant Group resulting in a brand turnaround and 13 quarters of same sale growth.

Prior to Arby’s, she spent 16 years at HoneyBaked Ham, where she served as Vice President of Marketing and then Chief Marketing Officer. She also has owned her own marketing firm where she worked with the Tropical Smoothie Café, Asian Tin Drum Kitchen, Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, Buckhead Branding, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and The Borgata Casino and Spa, Boyd Gaming and others.

Jo Ann has an MBA in International Business from Mercer University in Atlanta, and an undergraduate degree in Communication from Mississippi State University. She was previously an Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University and Mercer University.

A passionate community volunteer and served as Vice-Chair of the Arby’s Foundation, whose mission is to end childhood hunger. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

Her work has been lauded by industry and community groups including the National Diversity Council’s Most Powerful and Influential women, two AMY Awards from the American Marketing Association, a Mercury Award for radio advertising, and a Silver Effie for advertising effectiveness and was a finalist for the Catalog of the Year award by Catalog Age. She was recently the recipient of the Atlanta AMA’s Lifetime Achievement award.

Jo Ann and her husband Mark live in the Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta with their daughter, Lily. They love to walk on the Belt-line with their French Bulldog, Gatsby.

Visitor/Parking Instructions: Maggiano’s has a parking garage which is complimentary. It is located in the back of the restaurant. When you enter you will get a ticket and Maggiano’s concierge will provide a voucher to you. Please note when parking in the garage you MUST use the stairs and elevators on the south side (to your right if you are in the garage looking out towards Maggiano’s) in order to access the correct exit to enter the venue. Valet parking is also available for lunch at $2 per car.

Cancellation Policy: Due to pre-registration costs and guarantees, refunds or credits are not extended for this event. However, registrations are transferable. On the day of the event, the substitute attendee must present a copy of the registration receipt or e-mail verification to be admitted to the event.
