Hear from Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, Victor Misawa as he takes you on a storytelling journey.  Victor has circled the globe; from his days at Unilever in Tokyo, Bangkok, Paris, London and Sydney to his present role heading up the global marketing for the writing portfolio of brands at Newell.

While the locales are far from Atlanta, GA, the marketing adventures will be very familiar to us all.  Always charming and witty, Victor is a familiar speaker to AMA Atlanta.  He will share his tales of global marketing and show how they relate to your corner of the world.

Speaker: Victor Misawa, Senior Vice President, Marketing Global – Writing at Newell Brands

Hisao “Victor” Misawa joined Newell in March 2013 as Global SVP of Marketing for the company’s Writing brands.

Prior to this, he was a VP of Marketing for Unilever North East Asia, based in Japan and has more than 20 years of global marketing leadership experience across a wide set of categories and brands like: Dove, Axe, Lux, Lipton, Ben and Jerry’s, Sharpie, Dymo, Papermate, Persil —  both in emerging and developed countries.

Victor is now based in Atlanta, where he has been living for the past 4 years with his family of five.

Victor grew up in Belgium, being born in Mexico to Japanese and Mexican parents. He is Fluent in Spanish, English, French and Japanese. He is a graduate of Physics from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine.

Visitor/Parking Instructions: Maggiano’s has a parking garage which is complimentary. It is located in the back of the restaurant. When you enter you will get a ticket and Maggiano’s concierge will provide a voucher to you. Please note when parking in the garage you MUST use the stairs and elevators on the south side (to your right if you are in the garage looking out towards Maggiano’s) in order to access the correct exit to enter the venue. Valet parking is also available for lunch at $2 per car.

Cancellation Policy:  Due to pre-registration costs and guarantees, refunds or credits are not extended for this event. However, registrations are transferable. On the day of the event, the substitute attendee must present a copy of the registration receipt or e-mail verification to be admitted to the event.
