Chris Hatch

Chris is the chair of AMA Atlanta’s Non-Profit Committee, which is a group that leads high-impact initiatives to advance non-profit marketing in the community. He currently serves as a marketing strategist at Thomson Reuters and has over a decade of marketing experience with the company. Chris has led teams of marketers and crafted award-winning go-to-market campaigns on a global scale. He graduated Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. And, he earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and finance from the University of Minnesota. Chris lives in Atlanta with his wife and family.

 

Rachelle Kuramoto, Board Member, 48in48, and Principal and Founder, Watchword Brand

Rachelle Kuramoto

Rachelle is a seasoned writer, brand strategist and market intelligence professional who helps organizations uncover and articulate what makes them distinct, important and sustainable in the marketplace. She founded Watchword to provide clients with brand development and results-driven content. That might mean crafting the right name and voice, optimizing web copy to rank online, or producing assets that deliver measurable results. Over the course of two decades, Rachelle has directed editorial, messaging, and research for a leading global marketing agency and two companies of her own. Today, her Watchword team supports dozens of highly respected, innovative, award-winning companies and nonprofits with market research, strategy-driven brand elements, and beautiful content. Rachelle is passionate about her work, team, clients, and partners, but her first love is her family. You might also find her running with her dog, cooking, and volunteering.

 

Heather Schlesinger, CMO, Atlanta Community Foodbank

Heather Schlesinger

Heather is the Chief Marketing Officer of Atlanta Community Foodbank, overseeing the marketing, communications, public affairs, education and outreach work of the organization. Before the Food Bank, Heather served at The Krystal Company® as their Director of Marketing in charge of Calendar, Planning & Promotions managing relationships aimed at increasing guest engagement, enhancing customer perception and driving traffic and sales. She also previously led their Brand Marketing & Research department. Heather has also held many leadership roles including serving as the Director of Brand Marketing for Aaron’s Inc., Director of Strategic Brand Marketing in the Healthcare Industry and she was a Team Advertising/Marketing lead for The BellSouth® Corporation. Heather is a graduate of Boston University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and also completed the Culinary Scholar program at the School of Hospitality Administration. She earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Brenau University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Innovation and Leadership program at Antioch University. Heather is a native of Atlanta and lives in Dunwoody with her husband, twins and furry child.

 

Jonathan Karron, National Vice President, Brand Management, Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Jonathan Karron

Jonathan is an accomplished, results driven marketing leader with diverse experience in integrated and digital marketing in non-profit, client and agency settings. He is well-versed in all areas of marketing with proven success in building and sustaining profitable entities for some of the world’s leading brands. Jonathan is also an expert at deriving strategic insights, developing impactful marketing strategies, and executing award winning campaigns.  He currently serves as National Vice President, Brand Management for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

 

Visitor/Parking: Park on any level of the Two Alliance Center parking garage and take the parking elevators to P4, walk through double doors and you’ll see a sign for the meeting. Event is in rooms A, B, & C.
