Emily Phelps, global social media manager of Dell SecureWorks, will discuss B2B social and content strategies that helped take the organization’s social networks from artificial to authentic.  You’ll learn how the company established a social strategy in 2014 that drove a 156% lift in engagement, 103% follower growth, 77% increase in impressions YoY, as well as the evolution of their social program over the past two years and what’s in store for 2016.

SPEAKER: Emily Phelps | Global Social Media Manager | Dell SecureWorks

As global social media manager for Dell SecureWorks, Emily L. Phelps creates and implements the social strategy to drive online engagement, advocacy and growth. In her role, she oversees the organization’s official social channels and blog while collaborating across departments to develop valuable content for diverse audiences.

With more than 12 years of professional communications experience, Emily’s passion for authentic storytelling has propelled her career throughout the private, nonprofit and public sectors.

Prior to joining Dell SecureWorks, Emily worked at UPS, Park Pride, the Atlanta BeltLine and Weber Shandwick–Chicago.  Emily received her M.A. in Public Administration and her B.A. in Journalism from Georgia State University. Outside of the office, Emily enjoys performing with her blues-rock band, Pale Blue Lights. She currently resides in Roswell with her husband Mark.
