The AIGA ATL Student Board presents the annual Type Fight at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA). Come prepared to fight against new and seasoned talent or watch the games as a spectator. Bring your favorite mediums to work with and compete to win awesome prizes! You won’t want to miss this gathering of Atlanta’s creatives as they flex their crafty muscles! The game is capped at 50 attendees.
Parking
Parking is available at metered stations on the street, or you can take MARTA to Arts Center station, which is just across Peachtree Street from MODA.
What to Expect
The Type Fight will be approximately 2–2.5 hours of intensive letter-making. This seems like a long time, but trust us, you’ll need all the time that you can have. Three local Atlanta design professionals will be judging work at the end of the game and will present prizes to the winners.
What to Bring
Bring all the materials that you want to use to create. If you are a traditional drawer, bring your pens and pencils. If you are all about Cinema 4D, bring your laptop. We will have lots of paper and a few extra tables for you to spread out and work if you need to work larger.
