Bonnie will discuss the power of imagery and the role it plays in social history. And she’ll share some of the research that informs her new book, Signs of Resistance: A Visual History of Protest in America. The book features hundreds of iconic, smart, angry, clever, unforgettable images and chronicles what truly makes America great: citizens unafraid of speaking truth to power.
This lecture will be held at the Hill Auditorium in the High Museum, directly across the street from MODA at 1280 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.
Purchase a ticket for the lecture + a book to be signed by Bonnie or purchase a lecture ticket alone.
