AIGA Atlanta: Book Club Kick-Off Meeting

Join us for the kick-off of the AIGA Atlanta Book Club – a book club for people who like to read, think, learn, and discuss design in its many aspects. In this first meeting we’ll discuss ideas on the book and article selection process, meeting time, place and locations. We’ll also discuss a mix of formats for meetings that center around articles, books, and even guest authors.

GETTING TO MUSEUM OF DESIGN, ATLANTA

PUBLIC TRANSIT:
By train, take the North or South rail line to the Arts Center MARTA Station (N5), located directly behind the Woodruff Arts Center (handicapped accessible). Exit the Arts Center Station at the top level by the Peachtree St. exit. You are behind the Woodruff Arts Center. MODA is located directly across the street from the Woodruff Arts Center. Use the cross-walk at the intersection of 16th and Peachtree to get here. For more information on MARTA schedules, maps, and connections from other transit providers, please visit the MARTA website.

PARKING:
There are public parking lots located in the Midtown Arts district, as well as metered parking available along Peachtree St NE. The Lanier parking deck located at 1337 Peachtree St NE is the closest deck in walking distance to the museum. We’re also active supporters of Uber and Lyft if you choose to hitch a ride.
