Join MODA and Miami Ad School at Portfolio Center for a Design Conversation presented by fine artist, illustrator, and author Lisa Congdon.
Based on her upcoming book, Find Your Artistic Voice: The Essential Guide to Working Your Creative Magic, artist and illustrator Lisa Congdon unravels things like navigating influence, working through fear, what it means to have an artistic voice and why having one matters. Your artistic voice is what sets you apart, and, ultimately, what makes your work interesting, distinctive, worthy of discourse, and desired by others. Your voice can lead to magical things – works of art that transform lives, disrupt the status quo, change the conversation, shift mindsets, and offer comfort or connection to people who need it most. No matter your medium or genre and no matter your professional aspirations, having your own voice is the artists’ holy grail.
